the social mediasphere is asking "how did that happen?". in reality, conservatives tend to be older people and just aren't nearly as common on twitter. canada as a whole actually wanted conservatives in power more than any other party.
but with only 39% of the vote and with their polar opposites the NDP gaining 66 more seats than in 2008, you know people are going to ask, "how can you have a majority when less than half the country wants you and more people than ever are voting for a left wing party?".
guelph stayed liberal, one of very few districts to do so. here's a look at the area:
election day kept me on my butt for 14 hours on monday. this made tuesday's training about as comfortable as harper's french. today can only be better.
